UK Border Agency Information
If you are studying for more than 6 months in the UK, students from some countries will need a (GSV) General Student Visa. To apply for the visa you will need your place of study to issue you with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

The Winchester School of English is a Registered Sponsor which means that if you decide you want to study with us, we can issue you with a CAS.
When you enrol, as well as the £150 deposit, you will have to pay an additional £15 in order for us to process your application.
You will also need to send us:
A copy of the photograph page in your passport
A copy of proof of your language level
It is advisable to pay, either in full or a proportion of, your tuition and accommodation fees when your application to study at Winchester School of English has been accepted.
When we have all the information we need about your enrolment, we will be able to issue a CAS which you will need for your visa application.
If original documentation has to be couriered to you, you will be charged for the cost of the courier.
Visa Refusal
If your visa application is unsuccessful, tuition and accommodation fees will be refunded, less the £150 non-returnable deposit, the £15 CAS administration charge and any expenses incurred (eg courier costs).
Please note: You must send us the original refusal letter from the High Commission / Embassy before any money can be refunded.
